I don't do much baking. Mostly because the reality of seeing how much sugar and butter goes into the most delicious treats is a huge wake up call. These cookies include none of the above. Courtesy of the 21 Day Fix Nutrition Guide, loved by toddlers and adults alike.
What you'll need:
1 c rolled oats
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 ripe bananas (the riper the better here--set them aside and let them get almost black)
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c unsalted, chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350*
Mix ingredients from section 1 in a small bowl.
In a larger bowl, mash bananas with a fork or potato masher.
Stir everything into the big bowl with the mashed bananas.
Drop (12) onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Makes 1 dozen cookies. Perfect for a healthy snack on the go. Pop into the freezer and enjoy as a frozen treat, too!
